Does anyone know for sure if Air-Tec is out of business?  They made the BK 2000, which was very similar to an Air-Way.  The reason I ask is because the contact link on their site is broken and the phone numbers seem to be bad. http://air-tec.adesignernamedheather.com/Contact.shtml

Upright Filterqueen   The filtration system reminds me of a Filterqueen on account of the filter cone.  If it was built well, it seems like a viable machine.

My past experience has been good, and they are very friendly when you talk to them.  I figure it was a fluke.  But, no harm in requesting careful packaging!

huskyvacs The cheap part for me is the handle. The whole thing is hollow and feels cheap.  I do like the old fashioned and simple design.
