Air-Tec out of business?

Does anyone know for sure if Air-Tec is out of business? They made the BK 2000, which was very similar to an Air-Way. The reason I ask is because the contact link on their site is broken and the phone numbers seem to be bad. http://air-tec.adesignernamedheather.com/Contact.shtml

Question: Door to door bagless upright

Upright Filterqueen The filtration system reminds me of a Filterqueen on account of the filter cone. If it was built well, it seems like a viable machine.

Question: Door to door bagless upright

Kirby bagless mod crazykirbydude I remember hearing about those, kind of wanted to try one. Not because I like bag less things, quite the opposite! I just thought it was interesting. Do you have a link to that thread where the "greatest moment" happened...

Question: Door to door bagless upright

Hello everyone! I cannot find the thread, but a while ago I was on here and someone mentioned a bagless upright sold door to door. I even went to the website, but cannot for the life of me remember the name! I believe it was silver and had the hand feature of folding up. Does...

My Silver King shipping disaster from GreatVacs

My past experience has been good, and they are very friendly when you talk to them. I figure it was a fluke. But, no harm in requesting careful packaging!

My Silver King shipping disaster from GreatVacs

huskyvacs I just used the return feature on eBay (they sell on there too) and let it go. Blackheart I turned mine on briefly, it did seem loud! I'm fine with that though. myles_v What other stories have you heard? <span...

Eureka "The Boss" PLUS ESP Triple Filter

Blackheart Right? I have been wanting a Sanitaire and just stumbled across what is effectively one!

Eureka "The Boss" PLUS ESP Triple Filter

huskyvacs The cheap part for me is the handle. The whole thing is hollow and feels cheap. I do like the old fashioned and simple design.

My Silver King shipping disaster from GreatVacs

compactc9guy I probably could have had a vac shop do it, but I didn't want to add expense on top of the purchase. I have already sent it back and received a full refund. The shipping was covered too. So, not a big loss to me, save for the time and that I don't have a Silver King!

My Silver King shipping disaster from GreatVacs

Before I went on my recent Watermatic search, I was really eager to get a Silver King. I think the bare bones filtration system is interesting, precisely because it is so simple! In my mind, it is an honest bag-less system. Plus, they look really cool. Anyhoo, what should have been a...

Eureka "The Boss" PLUS ESP Triple Filter

Hey everyone! I thought I would show off a vacuum I got at Goodwill for $9.99 that just had a bad belt! The ESP stands for "Extra Suction Power." Odd, because it is a low suction, high airflow design. The top is scratched to pieces by the former owner. My only complaint is that the cord is...

    Christmas gift advice!

vacuumdevil Thanks for the advice! I had forgotten about the James. she would probably get a kick out of the face. What exactly is going on over at Eureka? I know I got a vacuum for my parents years ago, some bagless thing, that spews dust everywhere but it ran okay.

KirbyCollector, I did see that one, but I don't think my rather petite sister would want to carry it around the whole time. Otherwise, a great option!

    Christmas gift advice!

eurekaprince: I certainly plan to get the hepa filter and hepa bags if I get it. luxkid1980: That is a great option! I'm almost concerned considering how cheap it is! I am very open to getting a nice used machine, but finding one can sometime be tricky. If you know of any models that are...

    Christmas gift advice!

My second post! My sister and her husband have four dogs, almost only hard floors, and no vacuum! For Christmas, I am going to fix that. The budget is a bit tight right now, but saw a couple of promising and inexpensive options: Sanitaire SC3683B Commercial Canister Vacuum (Basically a...

    Watermatic Filter Magic vacuum filters

Hello Vacuumland! I'm a new member and I wanted to introduce myself and ask a question. I only got into vacuum collecting this year or so and have built up a small pile of recent machines: (Kirby Avalir (post-100th anniversary version, but not the one with more red). Kirby Sentria I.
