I've actually dealt with this myself many times over the 10+ years that I've been on eBay. Just contact eBay or paypal and tell them the situation and they should issue you a refund within a few days.

Newer Vacuums I just don't like how cheaply made some of the newer machines are today. I like things that are built to last which most older vacuums are. There are still plenty modern brands with new machines that I like however, such as Miele, Sebo, Kirby, Rainbow, etc.

Also... The filter is right in the middle of the collection bin. If this is constantly used in a commercial environment, that filter is going to need some serious cleaning (which I doubt they get). A relative of mine had the Dirt Devil version of that machine, it really was awful.

The bumper... The original Fantom, not the Thunder (I used to own one), had the white accents on the handle, hose, and bumper. It may make it easier to find a replacement bumper knowing that. Great find, hope you enjoy it! Nick

My mom has... A Miele Dynamic U1 which I bought for her. She was previously using whatever cheap bagless vacuum was out there. She loves the Miele, as do I. They are built well, they clean well, and have great filtration. She uses the genuine bags and I gotta say though they are a little pricey...

I should add.... Anybody have a favorite genuine Rainbow scent? I hear Fresh Air is very good.

Forgot to add... It may be hard to find one of these machines in super clean condition like you are looking for. Overtime these machines get dusty.

I had one of those... That Scooby Doo vac was awesome! I had one back in the day but I used it so much that I would run the battery out and then be upset until it was charged again hah!
