hoses Sounds good. I would like to see what an original Diamond J hose looked like and a Super J/Golden J hose as all of mine have vinyl replacements. I think that the braided hoses made the canister of a Lux manuever much better than vinyl ones.

Nice Pair I really like that Royal upright/canister pair. That would be a great cleaning combo. How are they on sound? I know the new royals are extemely loud. Also, how easy is it to convert the upright for attachments? Do you have to take off the belt? Are they as difficult as Kirbys? Tim

I just got my mother's Diamond Jubilee Vacuum. I plan on using it, but the motor is so loud. I think it is about to go. Will a quieter motor like a G or 1205 fit in this machine? I know these are much quieter while not as powerful.
