Pontiac... What kind? Also, thanks for your concern Rugsucker, I may be 16 years old but would never turn it into the pimpmobile. I wont replace the radio or the original wheels, I love them but I either have to find someone to recap (radio term meaning to replace the compacitors) or to find a...

    Any Toyota Prius owners here?

Sorry Mike Rust repair is not in the budget at this time, at least until all the mechanical issues are repaired. My joke on the Woodward cruise, "If I wanted to drive 5mph while breathing others exhaust I would get on east bound I-94 at 5 o clock".

    Sanitaire upright problems and recommendations

Another option The widetrack Royal with its all metal(cast aluminum) housing and fan would probably hold up to the crushed granite. Also Royal type "B" filter bags are much better than Sanitaire's stock shake out or the aging 65 year old "F&G" type filter bags.

Does anyone have a picture of Keeler's self propelled converter?

I have scoured this site trying to find a picture of that kooky Keeler guy's Kirby or Bison self propelled system. He is the same guy who is now selling the useless Kirby "Bagless Conversion". Does anyone have a picture or video of that self propelled mechanism? ********** By the way, from...

    tank or canister

The 1951 and 1954 Consumer Reports... If I recall correctly, referred to the Electrolux style as a tank in 1951 and as a cylinder in 1954. They referred to the Filter Queen style as "pot, squat models" in '51 and as canisters in '54. ***I found some of the, since taken down, Consumer Reports...

    Found this old Hoover

Good to see the Original Bag Ask the more experienced collectors to tell you how to polish the Bakelite. That thing will look great cleaned up. The original bag on those 28's is key because everything else can be repaired or found readily on eBay. Here is mine with a generic HouseAid bag.
