I did not pay door to door prices for my Patriot. I got it for about the same price as a Miele or Sebo. Gary

Justin, I was going from memory (which isn't so good these days LOL)...I could have had the fine/course terms reversed. The higher the setting number does however delay the shutting off of the motor however. Gary

I have never heard of the requirement that new home construction requires central vac installation....and I live in Ontario, Canada. I checked the building code online and did not find anything. Where are you getting this information? Can you provide a link? Thanks. Gary

I use the closed Hepa bags in my Patriot....eliminates any mess when removing the bag. Gary

I have both the Wessel Werk and the Electrolux mini power nozzles. I much prefer the Wessel Werk and it is much quieter as well. Gary
