I’m glad you appreciated the photos, I figured it was the glue around the tube that had broken down. I think I’ll use a Miele pre motor filter just to be safe. I’m still shocked how good it is, I feel like all I’ve heard about this model how terrible it was.

In picture 5 I noticed fine dust around the dirt tube area specifically the blue area off to the side, if this is common is there a easy fix? It’s not the bag leaking so don’t bother telling me that.

Recently found this vac, it’s my first time using a dial a matic and it just so happens to be brand new. It’s a lot better than I thought and very smooth running machine. With a simplicity HEPA bag it performs great. The amount of NOS Hoover’s I have acquired this year is crazy.

I take the part of the febreeze plug in that goes in the glass jar out and suck it up in the bag. It’s kinda like a huge sebo stick, it’s very concentrated though and no amount of pet hair can over power it.

Swoosh It’s most likely the hose not making good conection with the wand, have you replaced the hose recently or at all since you originally bought it? Not sure where you live in ct but I know the good and bad shops that can help you out.
