Hi Kevin You are correct.  A few companies did go to Eureka for the power nozzles for their machines.  Compact did, as well as Rainbow.  I used to have a D2 that had a PN that was a Rotomatic with a Rainbow decal on it instead of Eureka.  I think even Air Way used Eureka nozzles at one time. ...

This is my second favorite I bought this machine from eBay a few years ago.  It's an early D2 without provision for a power nozzle.  Wish it had one.

Not that old but My favorite bag is the armour bag from the Classic Omega.

I think you're right Hans, My Mom's Kenmore canister had one of those triangular shaped dusting brushes, and I was born in 61.  She died in 64.  Never seen another one in person after that.  I would like to get one for my Kenmore, so I've been keeping my eyes open for one.
