Its A Wonderful World With Hoover

Just spotted this while browsing during my lunch break. We did not have these in the UK

    Electrolux Model 4?

Source? Can I ask please, what was the source of the extract you posted above. Is this a magazine you yourself possess or was it something you found on line? In all my many years of collecting I have only seen one of these magazines - actually just a few months later - and it would be great to...

I landed the mother load with Vintage Electrolux cylinders

Luxes Gareth, I am afraid I am going to be a pain but that looks like a 55 rather than a 62 to me, although you have got a 62 manual there. This is mainly due to the crocodile finish and that the hose entry is towards the bottom of the front cover rather than the middle. As Doug rightly says...

Hoover Junior 370 - polished alloy

Polished 370 That might actually have been Paul Linell's, as he sold off some of his collection a couple of years ago, or maybe a little bit longer than that

    Hoover Sensotronic find

Worth the investment? My answer would be yes. That is the third iteration of the Sensotronic and they are not often seen, the top of line version of this cleaner was the "talking" Hoover. I could not swear to it, but I think I have seen the handheld badged as Goblin, for memory they are...

But I know there will be no argument from John over this sentiment :)

    hoover senior 625 WITH TOOLS

Tufflex was wonderful You know John I always thought it was rather disappointing compared to the Hooverflex hoses that we had here, every UK made Hoover had a Hooverflex hose from around 1956 until the early 1990s

    Hoover Connie Model 87

Constellation 87 Have a look through the attached thread from the much missed Aeolian Dave, which includes an analysis of the 87 Al http://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?19455

    hoover senior 625 WITH TOOLS

Tools The interesting thing about this cleaner is that it appears to come with US rather than UK tools - these were only supplied (as far as I know) with the U4003 model that was imported here in the mid 1970s. I wonder if this is a re-build though, I always thought the blue models were 6525C...

    Hoover Model 417g

Instructions Chris Thank you so much for doing this. Well they did not kill themselves on the instructions did they? These are almost identical to the instructions from 1963, when the 417g was first introduced

    My New 419

419 Hi Mike Great to see more NZ cleaners on here. Can you believe I just got one of these myself just a couple of weeks ago, I will have to check the exact serial number of mine but it followed the later Model, Year, Month sequence. I waited a long time to get one of these, now have the...

Would a Hoover Sensotronic Total System 5 Model S3134 with Electro Kinetic clean my very well.

Sensotronic You would be better to go with this one, its the US equivalent, with a more sophisticated power nozzle

    Hoover Model 417g

417G good catch there Chris, these are quite rare. Its the last iteration of a cleaner first sold here in 1953 - US readers will recognise it is the Hoover Holiday. I have only seen two other of these on ebay in the last 13 years (My God is it REALLY that long!) and I snapped up one of them...

    Wow Fantastic vintage rare finds

Bylock Just to drift a little, I thought this company might have been something to do with Bylock who had a similar sprayer, but apparently not as the addresses are quite different and they are in different parts of London
