Are you sure? It caries the same part # as the one in the DAM IPL. It sure looks like it would fit. I hope it will - I paid over $100 for it. I believe it fits in a variety of Hoover products with power drive. It's not geared backwards or something, is it?

Darth Vacuum Here it is, I was delayed by a brand new black main body part that I broke two motor screws in (should have greased them first) was able to get one out but not the other, so that got trashed. Used a base from a U4381-030 and got er done!
