I just found a Kirby model 1C (yay!) but it's missing the entire handle, as well as the belt cover. Does anyone know if the handle fork from later models (505, etc) will fit? And I know it's a long shot, but nobody has a spare belt cover or handle laying around they'd part with, do they...?

Bright Spots? Detroit is actually doing better than it has in a very long time. As with any large city from New York to Chicago, there are rough areas, but downtown is actually a very pleasant place. I knew this was a bad idea, now I want both of those! While eBay and I do have a bit of romance, many of these are from antique shops, or came with vacuums I've bought.

And finally a couple run of the mill Kirby branded Sweet-Aire tins, all mostly full.

Then we have 2 larger sized Sweet-Aire bottles, one cedar pine, and one Oriental (not really sure what this is supposed to smell like, but it's weird.)

Next up, 2 unopened Sweet-Aire glass bottles with Sani-Emtor filling spouts, still in the boxes

I'm wondering what other tins and bottles are out there, show me what you've got! My first set is a Hoover oiler, an Expello moth crystal tin for Electrolux, and a Scott & Fetzer oiler (I really need the damn machine!!)
