    Kirby Model 1C Handle Question

I just found a Kirby model 1C (yay!) but it's missing the entire handle, as well as the belt cover. Does anyone know if the handle fork from later models (505, etc) will fit? And I know it's a long shot, but nobody has a spare belt cover or handle laying around they'd part with, do they...?

    The Air-Way Has Landed!

Getting back to the Air-Way, does anyone know a modern filter bag that will fit this vacuum? And what type of motor brushes it takes? They are a bit worn.

    The Air-Way Has Landed!

Dave, If you like Automated Music, you should make a point to visit Barrington Hills, IL sometime. I prefer a shake-out bag, there's something satisfying about emptying after each use, seeing all the dirt it picked up, and ceremoniously disposing of it.

    My Antique Phonograph Collection

Bright Spots? Detroit is actually doing better than it has in a very long time. As with any large city from New York to Chicago, there are rough areas, but downtown is actually a very pleasant place. Besides, I don't actually live in the Detroit city limits. My neighbors all have manicured lawns...

    Vacuum Related Tins & Bottles

I knew this was a bad idea, now I want both of those! While eBay and I do have a bit of romance, many of these are from antique shops, or came with vacuums I've bought.

Then we have 2 larger sized Sweet-Aire bottles, one cedar pine, and one Oriental (not really sure what this is supposed to smell like, but it's weird.)
