    Anyone need a vacuum?

Sears sold those Bosch vacs a few years ago (at least here in Canada they did). Not for too long though and now when you go to the bag aisle etc, no bags.. for the bagged version that is.

    Electrolux Auction Find 9/19

Nice find. The brushrolls on most of my vacs always get that away after a couple of uses around here with two long haired dogs. The only two vacs types it doesn't happen with are the old style Hoover/Hoover Q-flex and the Eurekas. Pretty much everything else I have to take scissors to regularly...

    RELISTED........

I thought the only way to pay nowadays on Ebay was thru PayPal, could be wrong.. Regardless, when I sell something that's the only payment choice I give with 10 days from close of auction. Not taking any chances and never had a prob, have always gotten the payment almost immediately.

Goodwill and old hardware store finds...MOTHERLOAD!

Steal is right. If the Sunbeam Radiant toaster doesn't work quite right and you're not sure how to get it lowering/upping automatically there's a website that will explain how to adjust itproperly.

    Singer Twin Fan

You don't see all that many Singer vacs around for sure. There were Singer Sewing Machine stores selling vacs in Canada back in the 60's and early 70's but my guess is that more people opted to buy a vac from either Simpson/Sears or the Bay/Eatons with their charge cards.

    My first Miele

Lucky you I got my first Miele only a few months ago at a thrift store, the white Allervac model, and I have to say I really do like it. I use it almost everyday because it's so quiet.

    Nice lux find...model 88...

I've tried twice now inviting more SW Ontario guys over for a meet but had zero luck. It seems to be just me and Dave in Stratford who actually want to get together. I'll give it one more try in a bit.

    Hoover powermax Attachment conversion

It has automatic tool conversion. You leave the hose connected into the base at all times There is no suction thru the hose when the vacuum handle is lowered for rug cleaning mode.. When you lock the vacuum back into the upright position the suction is diverted from the brushroll area to the hose.

Todays Thrift Store Find; Eureka Prince II

Okay I gave in today and did a little thrift storing and found this delightful little Prince II with all the attachments and storage tray. Looks like the hose is a replacement as well as the cord but she runs nice and the machine body is in very good condition, nary a scratch or scrape and no...
