Nice try, Calem! I've been dodging that number ever since I got it off the wall! "But they don't know better yet", love it lol! Show them the light! We definitely can't call Hoover for a 1926 700, but it would be fun to hear their confusion While I hope you don't, do you have any...

Found Electrolux Model LX - cleaned and fixed ejector

Thanks again for the information, for some reason I thought it came out in '51 Above the Electrolux logo in your photo, is that a shadow? I'm hoping it's not a small dent! Vacuumlad, I used to buy HEPA cloth bags to cut up and fit as filters...

"What if it tips over?" Plug in your table and pick up after it! I'd rather have a proper vintage table, with a proper LX sitting before it on the rug!

Why didn't you steal her Westinghouse canister? She's been trying to get rid of it ever since Ricky found out! Joking aside, nice job on the Hoover!

Yep, there's the famous vacuum cleaner museum in St.James! Not a playground, but the kids can have fun too if they're careful I'm certain there's people that collect those sorts of things, or all of them...I'm one of them!

Thanks for the correction, I'll keep that in mind! Was the LX also introduced in '52?

Found Electrolux Model LX - cleaned and fixed ejector

"Wrappers" was just the 1954 name for what we now know as the Electrolux type C bag, which can be found just about anywhere! I loved the old DVC brand "multi-filter" type C bags, but I'm not sure if those are still available, worth the Google though

I'm pretty sure the motor can be pulled out of the vacuum from the screws inside the bag chamber. It didn't do anything when you hooked it up? Did you try bypassing the switch? Best of luck!

Haha, that is creepy! But I'm sure they have ulterior motives. Maybe TV viewers think it's more interesting to see a child's "unusual" infatuation rather than that of an adult?

    Trading with a member

Thankfully, those are two different people! From what I've heard, the warehouse guy (rugsucker) is a pretty reputable salesman. He's sold on eBay and to those lucky few who come home with a station wagon full of vacuums from his warehouse clean-out!
