    Numatic WV470T Cooling Fans

Well, you know Rainbow does not make motors. Is there a label on your existing motor? Take a look at this pic. They are showing Ametek Lamb numbers for the Numatics. I suspect that you have one of these. It should be a 2 Stage 5.7 - 240v motor. Just look up some of these motors and see...

    Electrolux metal swivel connector refurb

I do not know how it became broken, it came in a miscellaneous box of Electrolux parts. The connector parts are made of pot metal, which is can crack if you are not careful.

    Electrolux metal swivel connector refurb

I had these two swivel connectors, one was the older style with a friction fit for the wand. The other was broken. (no idea how, that is how I found it) You know the story, they get loose over time. Both of these had seen better days. I made one out of two, and greased & tightened the...

    Brushroll

It is more useful if you have the model number of the power nozzle, not the vacuum According to this thread, it should be PN200, which is a re-labeled PN2 So, you would want a brush roll for a PN200, or a PN2   <a style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; font-weight...

    Panasonic ending vacuum manufacturing?

A sign of the times, just like the Japanese TV manufacturers getting out of the business, as the American ones did before them. these are the ones I remember getting out recently. Brand names won't mean a thing, like RCA or Westinghouse (nothing to do with the old companies). Sony of course has...

    Spencer Carwash Vacuums

Spencer makes some pretty cool stuff besides vacuums. "Manufacturers blowers, vacuum systems, separators, aeration blowers and gas boosters." http://www.spencerturbine.com/   As far as their vacuums, they have been at it a long time ..

    Oreck XL9100 Possible Motor Issue

Looks like you have two part numbers for the motor to work with, both point to being used in your upright. <h1 id="title" class="a-size-large a-spacing-none" style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; font-weight: 400...

crazy Kenmore canister setup with long hose.

this particular central vac hose has removable pigtails, so it is very easy to adapt to other systems. I can hardwire a pigtail to the Kenmore end that plugs into the vacuum, and run it to the hose. Right now, to turn the vacuum on, I just plug the adapter into the vacuum, and it starts up.

crazy Kenmore canister setup with long hose.

I had an old Sears central vac hose in great shape, and many Kenmore canisters with bad hoses. So, I came up with this .. It works well on the stairs. I could easily add a central vac power nozzle, but this is fine for its needs. :) Adding a power switch would be easy. Have done the...

    Oreck XL9100 Possible Motor Issue

If you are careful, you can turn on the brushroll without the belt. This will let you hear the motor operating.

    Oreck XL9100 Possible Motor Issue

The belt on that is the type that looks like a wide rubber band. These will stretch and break over time. You need to do an inspection. I just replaced that type on a Duros. I had to replace the belt and motor since it was clogged from hair, and the owner did not take good care of it...

Headlights -- Why most modern vacuums don't have them?

For a retrofit, this bulb is amazing. It is very small, and it fits in the bayonet base. The LED's & circuitry are encased in clear silicone. Very bright. Ordered it direct from China.

fantastic :) I noticed a groove in your brushes. That would have been hard to replicate using generic carbon brushes. Money was well spent.

I see you are in Nebraska. For heavy duty upholstery items, I usually go to the boat upholsterer. I live near multiple places that cater to boats.
