I have this: Model U4001, nice used condition, has a few scrapes, one broken snap on the bag. Runs good, single speed. Needs a good greasing but I can do that if you are interested. Appears to be all original, one owner, low miles (lol)
tolivac,
Just make me an offer, I don't have much in them and they are just taking up space in the closet. I'm not looking to make a mint off of them, and have no use for them. You can email me if you prefer, I'm not an upgraded member so can't use the messaging system here.
Yes, the stickers were only on the earliest bags- the one we had at our church had the later "Triple Filter" bag and I washed it by hand without issue. A great cleaner, although the drive cable was broken so it no longer self propelled. The one at our church wasn't excessively loud, just...
I have Two Compact Polish-Aire attachments for sale, and a Compact "Magic Disc" sweeper- The Magic Disc appears to be NEW, in it's original box (I did use it once, so there are a few dog hairs but I will clean it out), and one of the Polish-Aire attachments also appears to be new, never used...
I have a couple Hoover SteamVacs (original version), and they work fairly well. I have used a Bissell Proheat once (while I was repairing it), and it did fairly well but didn't seem to really deep clean. The best I have used was the original Rug Doctor (Rented red version or the blue home...
I've never had an issue with any carpet freshener powder, but it does clog bags and filters, so it's best to change the bag/clean the filters soon after using it. Never had any machine damaged by it though.
I could also care less how much water my toilets use, as long as everything is gone with one flush. Our house has (I think) an American Standard in tan upstairs, and a Mansfield (or something like that) downstairs. I think both are 2 gallon flush, and both do the job adequately. I *do* care how...
I have had a couple of them but sold them both. I thought they were pretty weak, and very noisy. Terrible filtration as well. I think the Dirt Devil and Hoover versions are much better machines. Better cleaning and filtration, and not so cheap feeling.
Well, the hepa filter *can* be removed. We had a dc07 animal at our church, and I removed the filter because it was very clogged. No damage to the machine, although it was significantly louder. Under the bin, at the front, there is a clip looking thing, that can be gently pried up with a...
