Flip it over and adjust the screw that is in the Micro-Matic button.

So I got a new to me vacuum today.

I'd like to see... ...a picture of this rare (I assume) machine!   As for getting rid of the stale dog smell, saturate a cotton ball with vanilla extract and put it in the bag.   You can also tape a dryer sheet over any exhaust ports.

Tons tons tons tons of vacuum parts

Could you get a pic of the hose? Does the hose have plastic or metal ends? If the latter, do they have air bleed holes in them?

Tons tons tons tons of vacuum parts

How much for the HII hose and ZippBrush? Got any other attachments that go with it?

    Handheld vacuums

I have a Royal Prince 501, from 1983. Also have two Dirt Devil Ultras, one missing lots of parts, that I am looking to sell.

    Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition...

    Yep, sure is. Technically it's a four speed (low-normal, low-delicate, high-normal, high-delicate)

    Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition...

...is now off my wish list and on my collection list, since I got this little gem today (no pun intended.) The chrome was tarnished, the bag was packed to the brim, the lightbulb was burnt out, and the belt was inside out and had some gouge marks in it. I polished it a bit, popped in a new bag...

Kirby Heritage II Hose & Attachments

Looking for a hose and attachment set for my Heritage II. Needs to be cheap, and have the Kirby Kaddy. ZippBrush would be nice, but is not required.

    Dirt Devil Ultra Vision

Nice find. Although your Mother shouldn't have denied you picking it up, a hobby is a hobby and should be encouraged ;) If you give it a good spa treatment, you may be able to get a couple bucks for it on Craigslist.

    Hoover Platinum Lightweight upright

Those don't have self propel... ...it must be the brush roll! In my opinion, I think they are great despite being made by TTI. I have heard favorable reviews about those.   Bags are expensive though, but the upright has much bigger bags than the tank.    What's funny is on Hoover.com...

What vacuum went with this attachment?

Thanks! My Grandmother has an early 90's Eureka canister. I think hers has the upholstery nozzle, but it doesn't have the dust brush or hard floor tool. So this attachment may get pawned off on eBay.

What vacuum went with this attachment?

And the hose connection... ...is about 1.25" in diameter.

What vacuum went with this attachment?

The underside... ...showing the area where I assume a brush would have gone.

What vacuum went with this attachment?

OK, I have a mystery attachment that was found in the Reno Group of my Heritage II. It's definitely not a Kirby upholstery nozzle, because it does not fit in the hose of my Heritage 84. There are two stamps inside it, one saying "24176" and the other saying "5A." There's also a place for a...

    Vacuum Lines

I think... ...that any Kirby with the regular nozzle or Miracle Head does an excellent job. Hoover Convertibles are also good, but I can't speak for Oreck or Dyson since I've never used one.

More chew marks I'm beginning to wonder if a dog got ahold of it... Most likely not :p

    Nasty vacs in for repair

Close up of the chewing marks I'll have to see if my neighbor wants to invest in a $25 brushroll.

    Nasty vacs in for repair

Checked the brushroll... ...It is all chewed up and both end-caps are cracked. Sorry for the fuzzy pic, my camera sucks.

    Nasty vacs in for repair

You're right! The Bagless is a U5280. I completely tore it down and scrubbed every plastic piece clean. All the impeller blades are there and the fan chamber is intact. You said it has a 7.3A motor, but on the motor tag it says 6.9A, maybe just an approximation?

    Nasty vacs in for repair

Thank you for the tip, Myles!   Unfortunately the machine sounds a bit off, maybe needs a new brush roll.   The Bissell just had a little clog that was easily fixed.
