I'm guessing the Lightning is a better machine due to being made in Canada. Ever heard of the Fantom Falcon? It's also a Euro-Pro Fantom canister, but that was made in 2005 or 2006.

I didn't know your old Powerforce was Korean. Was it Korean due to the controls and design? I know the Chinese models were cheaped out.
