    Eureka 4672ATV "translucent" Enviro Vac

Reminds me of..... Sebo made an upright that was clear plastic. Maybe just the bag door or the whole thing. I think it was made for dealers to demonstrate its inner workings. I have a friend who always wanted one. I think she said they may very few of them and as I said, were targeted for...

    Electrolux PN item

Am I to understand that the older brush rolls were supposed to have a round felt pad to provide protection from dust getting to the bearings and to hold oil for same? If so, can anyone tell me where to get them? I was thinking of maybe an obscure source like those felt pads used to place...

How do I test a rainbow E2 black unit without any accessories?

Years ago.... At a thrift store, I spotted one of these that would not turn on. It had the basin, but I did not know then that the thin plastic "blade" that was supposed to be sticking up from the basin, had snapped off. Probably why it was donated. I returned to the store to get it, but it...

    Ebay purchase - Ghibli

Well, I did it again! I did not check the Feedback for my current Seller before buying a vac. I am hoping I will not be the next victim. Initially they responded to a pre-buy question, so I thought this would be a smooth transaction. So far, NOTHING. No responses to my messages asking how...

    Ghibli Vortech Force

Score! Here is a very good picture of the latch/catch. All I have to do is find something that will duplicate that setup.

    Ghibli Vortech Force

Update I managed to restore the cord reel to working order. Would you believe it was a matter of putting in some spacers under each mounting point. This was important to create the clearance for the cord reel release button to work properly. Now if I can only figure out how the exhaust...

    Ghibli Vortech Force

Question to - European Members - or US/Canadian members The back exhaust door appears to be missing something that engages a lid hook to keep the door shut when the vacuum is running. I think it is held down by one of the existing screws. It may be metal. If you have one of these vacuums...

Hi, mine finally arrived. complete with screwdriver pry marks, busted front pigtail cord clip, hint of carpet powder near bag opening lip, 1 of three lower shell screws missing/complete with busted hole stem and broken cord reel. Replacing belt in Tristar PN HELP

Les, It is a flat belt, I am trying to stretch a Eureka belt, from an old stash. I keep thinking it is too tight or too old to stretch. I am going to order a Tristar belt to see if that helps. As for your tip, I have no idea what you are describing by using a flat head screwdriver.

    Smelly Compact vacuum

Update I think my treatment worked. I ran the device inside a large tub, vacuum on it's side with door open for 30 minutes. Without opening the plastic covering, ran the device and the vacuum for a few minutes more. I left everything for about 30 minutes to permeate. I took the whole setup...

    Smelly Compact vacuum

Thank you, All this sounds great. I might try one thing first. I have this Ozone Generator unit (looks like the one in the picture) and a large plastic tub. I was thinking of putting together in the tub, sealing it the best way I can, and letting the OG run. After about 30 minutes, I may...

Just an odd question - Kirby

Is there a diagram showing where in the Kirby caddy you are supposed to place each attachment. I looked through 2 newer Kirby manuals and there was not an image of where all the attachments are stored. It is obvious to me where the wands and the crevice tool are stored, but where should each...

Rainbow D2 PN cord receptacle question

Thanks Mike, thank you very much. This is the 3-wire receptacle that I want to use. The 2-prong receptacle on the unit is brown like this one. With all that is going on right now, I have not been able to work on my vacuums. Hopefully soon I can. I sort of like to get a game plan down...
