    **DUMPSTER FIND-Hoover WindTunnel V2**

Brushrolls I love the dual agitator concept if only it would have been perfected! Does anyone know where the Saavy falls in the lineup? Was it a version of the Wind Tunnel, or was it it's own model? I remember it as having the dual agitators, but don't recall much more about it.

    **DUMPSTER FIND-Hoover WindTunnel V2**

I know that there's another post about the Windtunnel V2 going currently. But I wanted to show my latest acquisition which is an older model than the one currently under discussion. Found this at a local vac shop that was going out of business. It was waiting to go in the dumpster & I rescued...

    Sanyo Transformax

Hey guys, here's one of my latest finds. It's not something I was really looking for, but came across in a local thrift store. I was intrigued & home with me it went. It cleaned up well & has quite a bit of suction for such a lil guy. The turbo nozzle goes 90 to nothin! The nozzle a bit rattley...

    Trash Picking

There were 4 or 6 windtunnels, some of them bagged in the dumpster at one of our local vac shops just this week. Must have been the week for shops to trash their trade in's. LOL

    Hoover Quik Broom

Color Names Ray, thanks for the clarification on the color names. After my original post, Jason sent me scans of original Hoover advertisements. I noticed on those that the color names were "camel" & "oyster white". Do you have a pic of yours to post? I don't think I have seen the honey beige...

    Hoover Quik Broom

Tyler thanks for the Hesco link. I really like the schematic view of all the machines. Jason, I didn't even think about this as being a part of the pickles lineup. I had the pickles convertible at one point in the past. I shoulda kept it! I still have to get my mind wrapped around thinking of...

    Windtunnel Air

I have one Have been using it now for 3 months. I really like the way it grooms the carpet , how light it is & how quiet the motor is. Below is a link to the thread I made about mine a few weeks back :) http://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?16048

Sanitronic Style Nozzle for my Heritage II

Well... I think the small head is a nice choice. It's been quite a long time since I have used a Heritage w/ the smaller nozzle, but as I recall they are easier to push & navigate around furniture than the standard head.

    Finally got a direct drive!

Bag Chamber "Vents" Bobby I have the similar design non-direct drive upright in Sunflower yellow. The bag chamber vents are Kenmore's Power-Flow dual chamber design. It's supposed to keep airflow around the bag to maintian suction as the bag fills. Oh & BTW that's a great find & thanx for...

    Hoover Windtunnel Air

Durability & Other Issues I have been using mine now for 2 months.Haven't had any issues with the durability of the plastics so far. I don't like the dusting/crevice tool combo, however I have other vacs in my fleet better suited for that. For $50 I feel like it's a great vac & in comparison...

    Hoover Windtunnel Air

I agree David, I am also very happy with how lightweight it is & quiet! It's so easy to grab and go thru the house. My other vacs have been sitting idle since I received this one.
