Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

Hey Electro Is that Tom from Indiana??? with the black rainbow? You have the best one.. KEEP it. LOL The new one is definitely a step down...they took the power away and the basin in smaller... Do you still clean the church? I know you use your rainbow for all kinds of cleaning...your...

Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

CPAP's do have a filter...but they can get nasty from what I understand...even with a filter.. Trying to put it in words. Say you put some essential oil on a cotton ball and suck it into a bagged vac...that's fine. You can smell it..it smells good...but if you put drops of the same oil into the...

Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

Dust is my biggest enemy..that and spider webs...I'm pretty good at controlling it if I keep up with vacuuming...But you can't have clutter or trying to dust everything is pointless and makes trying to control it much more difficult. Once you control your clutter it's pretty easy to vacuum...

Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

Well... One thing I can say for sure (at least my experience)...when it comes to dusting the house...I have my hepa bagged vac..(which I love, btw) and my rainbow. I'm a clean freak but when I clean I don't do the entire house at once time..Since I do everything so thoroughly..... I'll do one...

    Calling all rainbow e2 owners

My E2 Gold from 2006 I bought brand new....over the years I've never noticed a change in pitch. It's literally always sounds the same...I just used it today...Once in a while when I turn it OFF the rev down is kinda vibration (ish) but it's always mostly a very smooth typical sound you hear...

Do central vacuums work well for killing ants?

I second the ant traps from Raid. Normally I hate poisons of any kind but in this case I do it... it's a longer process but ultimately it works. The thing with vacuuming is you can vacuum them and more will always follow. They are after something...sometimes if they find nothing they want...they...

    Kenmore vacuums at other retailers

Hmmm. I wonder what they changed with the bag collar? Looking at pictures the design looks similar to the way it has always looked. I really did like these vacuums aside from two things...The bag collar issue I had which can be solved with tape..and the connections to the wands would ultimately...

    Kenmore vacuums at other retailers

how is it certified asthma and allergy friendly if these aren't even sealed HEPA? I know they have HEPA but unless the designed them to be sealed... I dunno. Did they change the bag compartment where it doesn't leak? For me it never was the bags themselves that leaked but the bag collar that...

Help! Rainbow e2 Gold leaking water

Also, the blinking red light is normal. I have this machine. I will say this...if you got that second hand...I'd have it serviced...as in taken fully apart and cleaned inside and out...You can go about 1/2 inch over the fill line and yes..cold water only. If you're already doing all these things...

Stinky bagless vacs and bulky item day trash finds.....

Wow - they STILL sell the stuff! I'm not sure why, but I've never noticed it on shelves or maybe I just haven't paid attention. I just went to amazon to look and you can still by it. Love my carpet, hate my vacuum <-------- LOL .. I guess in my mind since I swore off all that stuff YEARS ago...

Stinky bagless vacs and bulky item day trash finds.....

Lord have mercy we bought carpet fresh like crazy in the 80s... I did smell good though...I know it's horrible stuff and I haven't used it in FOREVER... but I don't remember it ruining our vacuum cleaners back then....We had the same vacuum for years it was a bagged hoover upright... I think...

Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

I'm trying to remember but since 2006....I've only gone through 2 HEPA filters on my rainbow and I'm now on my third. I've never used it without a hepa filter. I will say one thing I do... I fill the basin with more water...over the line..Not so much water than it causes issues...but more water...

    Rainbow SRX

so exactly who is it that's in line to get a cut from a sale? I know there's a list of people... It's Rexair...then dist...then the person who does the demo...that's 3...there may be several more but can't think of them. But it seems like when you cut all of those other people out and just buy...

    Rainbow SRX

I'm still living with my 2006 gold 2 speed and love it. I prefer the last black model to the SRX...$3000+ seems outrageous

    Unique use for your Rainbow

I did something very similar just weeks ago. I waited for a cold night so the garage would be cold...I have this small chest freezer that I have never defrosted...like literally 17 years...total neglect on my part but I just kept putting it off.. I didn't use hot water in my rainbow. I just...

    Finished my Central Vac install

I'm trying to picture that and the only picture I can get in my mind is that you have this big central vac motor sitting in a fixed place in your house, and you have the long lose and the PN that reaches throughout the house? Can I see a couple of pics just curious...thanks Oh, and FYI...for...

    Finished my Central Vac install

I would LOVE to have a CV I had no clue they needed to be vented outside like a clothes dryer. Shows how much I know. I thought it was more simple. Like the main unit is in garage.....pipes run to each room through walls. You connect a hose to different outlets to clean and all the dirt goes to...

    Aura CleanMax and dinner

OH.. Gotcha.... Yea after you said that, I went to Rainvac.com (because they sell every rainbow part imaginable...and a lot of the older rainbows are no longer available.

    Aura CleanMax and dinner

I love all of the separator water filtration vacuums. There are so many now. I've lost count. What do you mean people bring rainbows in and parts aren't available?

Daily driver candidate acquisition (proteam 1500xp)

You should get one of those 12 foot universal hoses (that come with attachments)... Pop the hose off the vac and plug the universal hose in and you can clean everywhere...It's so much better than taking the short hose off an upright and trying to clean with that. Something like this. I use this...
