    Regina Wizzes can you help identfy the year of this machine.

    The original Oreck (The Whirlpool )came out in 1963.The Regina Power Brush 'n' Beat debuted in 1964.The Oreck was first.That Regina was out through the 70s -a cute little thing with the bag in front of the handle,a compact nozzle and 9.75 lbs.,cleaned carpets well enough but awful with tools.

    Kewl!Thanks! BTW,no wonder it was called an Airway ,and with aviation symbols to boot. Tuck this in,grease that there. It's high maintenance was like running a private plane,LOL! Great vacuum,though!

    red Royal, red Royal So true,I adored my Electro-Hygiene 903.The red was more striking than the 880 ,which is the same but in blue and a few less attachments.The 903 was my very favorite upright that I've ever owned!

    Do you like Royals or Kirbys better? With the latest being the 70s.I love both,but the Royals were lighter,quieter,even more old fashioned looking,more maneuverable so Royals win in my book.

    Which is preferred around here?Airway or Filter Queen ?I prefer the (old) Filter Queen's quietness and upper diffused exhaust but some Airways are more attractive and certainly cleaner with dirt disposal.BTW,has anyone noticed that FQ cones are thinner than they used to be years ago,probably so...
