Through to 1991 Tonights photos and models bring us through to the year 1991, when the original Turbopowers were given their final overhaul as core range machines, rather than end of production run budget range versions and exclusives. Will detail the remaining models tomorrow night. Paul

U2638 Mystery model another mystery model, styled in York Grey and Carmargue Grey. The picture below is of a machine on ebay a couple of years back - it MIGHT and MIGHT ONLY be a U2638! Anyone buy this machine and able to confirm its identity?

U2572 - pointless model number three! No sooner had the new 1989 series been introduced, then Hoover did their new model because it has free tools trick. U2572 was the free tools version of the basic U2566. No photos, but it was identical to the U2566.

U2570 Turboboost I think I am write in saying that this was a 400watts default model, from which you could get 410watts by holding the switch in its upper third posistion. The switch had to be held manually in position to get the 'boost' and would fall back to off, when released. Something...
