RICCAR 8900 I see you have a Riccar 8900 posted on your profile pic. How do you compare your Convertible 707 to the Riccar 8900? Which do you think cleans better since one is a direct air vac and the other bypass?

direct air vacuum i guess a direct air vacuum would make more sense since there is more airflow? correct? Kirby has always had a good reputation, havent tried the all metal royals? Kinda wanting something lightweight, and hear the kirbys are awesome but heavy and cumbersome for the attachments...

See thats what i need i need something to get the deep down grit out of my carpet. i have a deep plush frize carpet.. and so was wanting something that was gonna agitate that dirt to the suface. i hear the uprights like the simplicity symmetries/riccar vibrance were good too? any experience...

good to know.. are the PN's on the kenmores or panasonics as good as the riccar/simplicities? looks like the agitator on the simplicities/riccars look better?

Hoover Concept One is a "direct air" design, not a clean air.

thats why most people or vacuum cleaner fanatics on here, agree that any "direct-air" or "fan first" machine will out clean any bypass "clean air" machine. Short n simple airpaths are the way to clean carpet IMO. Theres no twisted hose or or channels. directly from nozzle, fan, to bag.. plain...
