    NOS Electrolux motor?

Mounting flange The mounting flange and rubber gasket from a defunct Silverado motor easily attached to this new motor. I'm going to see if it mounts properly into the machine later today! I'm mainly concerned about the fan side being long enough to make proper contact with the gasket on the...

    NOS Electrolux motor?

I came across what I think is a NOS Electrolux motor. Can someone tell me if, in fact, it is genuine Electrolux and the vintage of the motor. Thanks!

    Electrolux Motor Question

Success! Nathan, thanks for your help! It was simple to open. I was just a little worried about putting too much pressure on the fan. But it opened right up. It's all cleaned out and smells like it should!

    Electrolux Motor Question

I have an Electrolux Olympia One that has that typical musty motor smell. I want clean the fans but I'm not certain how to stabilize the armature in order to remove the nut on the fan end of the motor. I'm sure it's something simple but I've never serviced an Electrolux motor before. Thanks...

My Supercharged Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team

The Ametek motor is one stage.  The photo is just deceiving.  In fact, the Domel is slightly taller by about 1/4 inch.  I think I bought the motor from Zoro.  But I checked their website and couldn't find the model I bought.  Just a few months ago, Domel motors seemed to be pretty plentiful from...

That's pretty awesome!  Thanks for sharing the article.  Kirby sales people get such a bad rap.  It's nice to see something positive.

    HELP! 😩

A new fan case is the best way to go.  You could buy a new screw and a kit to re-thread the fan case.  But it's cheaper and EASIER to go with the new fan case.  Be sure and use some clear silicone caulk when installing the new fan case so that it doesn't leak dust.

    Royal 4000

If memory serves me right, I think this serial number indicates that it was made in 2002.

    Royal 4000

It was already in really great shape.  But I went ahead and give it a quick hand polish.  When the weather warms up, I'll disassemble it and give it a good machine polish.

    Royal 4000

I'm not sure if this is the correct category for my newly acquired Royal 4000.  I used to know how to read Royal serial numbers in order to tell when they were manufactured.  But I've forgotten, so I'm calling on our Royal experts to help me with the dating of this vacuum!    I once owned a...
