Anyone in the Lubbock Texas Area

Number Thanks Nathan! I’ve updated it in my contacts! When I got this phone last year, I finally made the switch from android to Apple, and as you can imagine NOTHING was compatible between the two, so I lost most of my contacts! Those Silverados are amazing machines! I have one I picked up...

Anyone in the Lubbock Texas Area

Nathan! Good to hear from you! I’m really glad you ended up with that Silverado! If anyone can give it a new lease on life, you’d be the person that could do it! I agree, I’m shocked it was running at all given the shape it was in! I wonder if that was a “handyman” fix on that machine...

    Strictly upright or strictly canister?

I think it’s what you’ve been used to.... Like many others of you have already stated, I collect both upright and canister/cylinder vacuums......HOWEVER when I’m reaching for one, 8 times out of 10, I’m reaching for a canister vacuum. As I said in my subject line, it’s all about personal...

What would you say is the prettiest upright vacuum that is currently available for sale?

Best looking upright..... In my opinion, is the Kirby Avalir (well, really any of the G series). Perhaps I'm old school and like a heavy-duty well built vacuum that can pull itself along. To me, the Kirby is a perfect blend of function and fashion. It's a beautiful machine (especially all...

Help Wanted! I've found this in my attic, hoping you know what I have

Dolly Sparkle I’m not too familiar with the 240 volt European vacuum cleaners, but from the looks of it, my best guess would be that it’s a vintage Goblin cylinder vacuum. In the attached image, it’s the vacuum in the upper right-hand corner I believe. Some of our overseas friends please feel...

    Electrolux XXX question

C Bag Adapter Todd, Congrats on getting an XXX! They are wonderful machines, and if you take care of it, will last you for a long time! I too use one in my office, and I get tickled at all of the stares and comments I get on it! It's actually proudly displayed when not in use, and it has...

    Electrolux Silverado Model 1505

Silverado Keith, They truly are amazing machines! I have several, and my most recent one was a Goodwill find. For $35, I got the vacuum, original hose, floor attachment, power nozzle, dusting brush, crevice tool, bags, etc. The only thing that didn't come with it was a mini nozzle...

    Electrolux model g purchase

Wheels Jason, You will probably have to paint these to color match the vacuum, but I believe you stated in your post above that you were going to paint the machine anyway. See if this would be something you could use: http://https//evacuumstore.com/p-7420-electrolux-vacuum-model-g-wheel.aspx

    Electrolux Score

Well, lately I have slowed down dramatically on the number of vacuum cleaners I am purchasing. For one thing, eBay and the like have driven the prices of these older cleaners through the roof, but also because I would like to focus more on models I don't already own......this however was an...

    The Rexair Lives!!

Pete Thank you for adding those photos of your machine! When I purchased mine, it was just the body only, didn't have any attachments/hose/etc. with it. At least now I know sort of what I'm looking for if I ever get the attachments or hose for it.....but I have a pretty good feeling that...

    The Rexair Lives!!

Decided to dig an oldie out tonight! I remember the motor running when I first tried it out, but I couldn't really remember how well......turned it on again tonight and wow! It really surprised me at how well it ran! Once I get it cleaned up I'll post better photos and a video of it running!
