    Electrolux vacuums to become extinct?

So I have been corresponding today with a friend in Germany who was a long time Lux distributor and now does a nice business selling Lux parts and supplies on the German eBay site. You will see him selling there as "Michi". In the process of chasing down some of the companies he mentioned...

Anyone else think the pre "ball" Dysons had better Bin/Cyclone designs?

Hmm. I didn't realize they were still being made. Thought it died when Panasonic stopped making Kennys.

    Electrolux vacuums to become extinct?

I would be curious where your information regarding Aerus body parts being molded in an Electrolux Group ( former Eureka ) plant in Juarez Mexico is coming from. Electrolux Group sold Eureka to the Midea Group in 2018 and sold Sanitaire to Bissell in 2019 so they no longer own that old Eureka...

    Electrolux vacuums to become extinct?

Where are you getting this information that the Electrolux Group was molding Electrolux USA body parts in the Eureka plant in Juarez? From another thread in Contemporary Paul posted this:

Anyone else think the pre "ball" Dysons had better Bin/Cyclone designs?

Double the price of what? A Kenmore or Panasonic branded vacuum that is no longer made? Have you seen the prices those budget lime green and orange Kenmore canisters are fetching on eBay lately? More than double the prices I paid for mine on clearance at Sears and K-Mart. If you want that...

Anyone else think the pre "ball" Dysons had better Bin/Cyclone designs?

The poor design of the suction hose segments from the nozzle base to the bag chamber of my Riccar Vibrance clogs routinely. The hose segments are oriented with the male side facing into the airflow. Hair and and other small debris jams into the sharp exposed joint and jams form. If Riccar had...

Wertheim like Hoover in Oz or Sauber are not vacuum manufacturers. They are just brand names Godfrey's owned and put on vacuums made by other companies. The Sauber Intelligence / Lux Intelligence / Aerus Guardian Platinum / Eureka-Forbes Euroclean Xtreme is made in Slovenia by a company called...

    Aerus/LuxInternational discontinuation?

Great finds ! Really good research. Did a patent search on Frank Bosshard ( how would you like to work for someone named Bosshard !!! ). He's a hired gun industrial designer. His several patents are for things like an elevator control panel, coffee maker water tanks, a "key switch", and a...

    Aerus/LuxInternational discontinuation?

I wonder what their relationship to Lux International parent, Eureka Forbes of India is? Funny aside but I discovered the Intelligence is sold in India as the Eureka Forbes Euroclean Xtreme dry vacuum cleaner...

Not 100% sure but I would take a look at the Titan T8000 cyclonic bagless canister vacuum. https://www.thinkvacuums.com/titan-t8000-cyclonic-bagless-canister-vacuum-cleaner.html

Lux International was a sales company. They were the direct sales subsidiary of Electrolux AB until they were sold. I really doubt they had the engineering talent to design a vacuum. 2009 is when the European side of Lux International entered into a joint venture with Eureka Forbes, a company...
