    Use a hacksaw and cut a slot across the head and make it like a regular slotted screw and use a regular screwdriver.

    You can take the roller bearing apart if you want to clean and grease them manually.There is a small wire snap ring on the older ones that you can take off and the bearing will come apart. It's hard to get off you have to work at it a little while. Then you can actually clean the bearing parts...

    Hoover Convertibles

    I just got a ( A ) bag complete assembly, bellows and fill nozzle and outer bag and swapped it out for the ( C ) bag assembly on my earlier convertibles that I use everyday. So now I can use my earlier models with modern conveniance of the A bag.

    I also collect radio's from the 1930's to early 1940's. They had some radio's that were designed for farm's that had no electricity that were 6 volt and also 32 volt. I have one Zenith floor model that will run on 6 volt or you could switch to 110 volt. I do not have any that run on 32 volt...
