    Kirby 512 assistance needed

Hi Everyone, I have a Kirby 512 that is in pretty rough shape, and I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the owners manual with warranty card I could use to send this for a rebuild or if someone may be interested in earning some extra cash and refurishing it some for me. It is in need of a...

I also had a great day at Goodwill !!

that is an excellent model, we got ours and mother(who is hard on vacs) didnt destroy it. The restaurant I worked at had one too, from around 2001, they still had it when I left there in Jan 2007. It says alot if it can hold up that long under such harsh conditions

    How to??

Brad, To remove the hood flip the vacuum over and there are two screws one on each side that needs removed, the screws are behind the front wheels. Asfor the power issue, either the switch is bad as you stated, or it is possible that one of the wires are disconnected from the switch. Sam

Bobby, I a Eureka belt is bigger and thinner than a Hoover Belt. Using a hoover belt on a Eureka would put more strain on the motor. Sam
