Kenmore BOL canister pic.OK Im loosing it.lol

This Catolog is from 1992 Wow! these pictures bring back memories of my youth. They don't make them like that anymore. I distinctly remember the Carpet Shampooer, my Grandfather had one just like it. Also the red, white and blue bypass uprights look like they're Riccars or at least similar...

What to do, brushroll doesn't work.

I recently replaced the fan in my Eureka it's similar to a Sanitaire. Anyway I bought a new brushroll to go with it too. The motor runs fine but it doesn't turn the brush. Could it be that I need a new belt? What do you think? Thanks A Bunch! Alex

    Needing New Vacuum

Hi All, I'm thinking about getting a new vacuum and I'm debating on which brand to buy. One option is a Royal Everlast, another is a Riccar Tandem Air or I'm thinking a bagged Hoover Platinum or Electrolux. What do you guys think? Thanks for the input, Alex

    Riccar Tandem Air

Hey Everyone, I was wondering what people think about the newer Riccar Tandem Air models. Do you think that they are worth all of the hype that they receive? I had a regular bypass Riccar and I wasn't overly impressed, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I have only tested the Tandem Air...

What to think about new Electroluxes

Hey there, I was just wondering what everyone thinks of the new red Electroluxes. Do they have good suction and pull the carpet nap up well? Are they worth investing in - particularly the bagged canister or the non-bypass fold away upright?

    Royal vs. Kirby

Thats good to hear about the new Kirby Lexan Fans. I too have been disappointed by the newer Royals made in China. Even the older models were quite loud too, my aunts and mine sure are. Hoover and I think Electrolux are owned by the same Chinese parent company that owns Royal now too - or...

    Royal vs. Kirby

Hey there, I was wondering what the consensus around the world is when comparing Royals to Kirbys. Most people I have talked to like Royals because they are all metal. Personally, I think Kirbys and Royals are about evenly matched as far as cleaning performance is concerned. My only complaint...

    Royal Everlast Disposable Bags

Hey there, I have a Royal Everlast and it uses a top load disposable bag made by Royal and it connects to a plastic dirt tube. My aunt has an older Royal and she doesn't have a plastic dirt tube. She uses a Eureka/Sanitaire F&G Style disposable bag that has a paper tube and it connects to the...

    Best shampooer

I'm sure they scrub the carpet well, but how do you get the soapy water out of the rug? Do you have to use another machine?

    Compact vs. Tri-Star

Has anyone else noticed that the older Compacts clean much better than the newer Tri-Stars? The material quality seems to be just as good but not the suction or powerhead performance. Why would Interstate Engineering downgrade their motors?

    Question about central vacuum cleaners

Thread Number: 5990 Central Vacuum Question Hey there, I would keep your current vacuum cleaners as well. While central vacuums can be quite convienent at times, they typically don't pull the carpet nap up as well as say your Kirby would. Typically central vacuums aren't meant to be a heavy...

    Lindhaus and Nilfisk

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew if Nilfisk and Lindhaus are the same company or owned by the same parent company? Kind of like Riccar, Simplicity and Fuller Brush. Or could they be separate companies but made in the same plant? A lot of models look identical. Thank you, Vacuumalex
