The little experience I've had with Shark products I've been very impressed shame they stick to the single cyclone but their filters are so easy to clean and dry quick too! 😄

Dyson have recently been making lots of claims like strongest suction at the cleaner head etc, if that results in their products being superior I don't know I only have one Dyson and I'm happy with it personally.

I wonder how they claim no loss of suction on that! Look's like the dirt would mainly end up on the filter. This one of Amazon says it has a brush-roll but £65 is a bit too much to just take a punt on it...

DC18 has fins sticking up from the flap at the bottom, DC38 doesn't have any but its so small the dirt hardly spins round anyway.

Wow that is bad, I've done similar tests with my Vax Mach Air but it copped ok to be honest when I checked the pre motor filter it was still clean but it is multi cyclonic. Still I didn't expect this to be THAT bad!!! My AEG UltraPerformer is only a single cyclone but that keeps its filter very...

I'm looking forward to these new regulations, when you think how low wattage vacuums used to be. Increasing the motor wattage IMO was just a lazy way of increasing performance, exploiting new technology instead of energy usage should have been happening long ago.

If the only thing stopping you getting this was the one year warranty, then maybe you should revisit the Vax that alot of people on here recommended as that has a six year warranty and from what I can see this AS25 may also be made by TTI anyway just like Vax!

It used to be easy to find cylinders with remote control handles but then they seemed to stop offering them! At least they seem to making a comeback, and I've just noticed on the Vax website they are now offering an Air cylinder with a powerhead!!! I really hope more do the same.
