    Barn find Hoover and GE

Those look like they would be alot of fun to restore. Everything is there. I love bringing back rust buckets into usable condition.

    Forgotten Oreck Products

Idk where the pic is but somewhere out there is a shiny chrome 1970s Oreck stick vacuum. I'd nominate that

The Machine to Launch an Empire

It was on Marketplace, in Minnesota... But the seller wouldn't ship. So I paid a guy $25 to get it, $40 for the vac, and $55 for shipping costs. No hose or other tools sadly, just the dinged up wand, wood floor tool, and upholstery tool. But the wand is the special one that makes it possible to...

The Machine to Launch an Empire

Its not the first model, but the first one to be exported out of continental Europe and caused the brand to take off. Scored this off Marketplace!

    Reskinning a Lux isn't fun

...but boy did it need it. The old leatherette was full of holes and tears, concealed by sharpie. While I was at it I gave it a buff. Anyone that has had to do this to a pre XXX Electrolux, my condolences. It took like 2 hrs just to glue/cut the new leatherette and fit the cast rings! The only...

Part 2, for 40 pages this manual is deceptively thin

    Scanned some neat stuff

Kirby 514 manual, quite a hard scan as it was too long for the scanner

3rd generation broom vac (broom style)

Ah the Karim Rashid era, that was uhh, interesting for sure

What vacuum does this attachment belong to ?

I'm pretty sure the electric motor in it was metal not bakelite, thus valuable for scrap in desperate times

3rd generation broom vac (broom style)

Husky is right, this looks like some crap you'd get off Temu/Wish lol

A Frantz in all but name

Nice and mirror like now :)

What vacuum does this attachment belong to ?

They made about 15000 Eureka model 1s(like the ad, no wheels on the head, no front port) and no one seems to have one of those. There are a few model 2s floating around but thats a different story. Its possible something failed on the Aer Rotor in the majority of cases and they were thrown out...
