what is the next kirby model

The Kirby... is utterly impossible to learn to use without a live action demonstration, video won't do it, no matter how good. If they ditch DTD, selected vac shops as dealers would be the way to go.   Electro-Hygiene/Royal offered a system similar to Kirby: polisher brush, portable...

what is the next kirby model

Gsheen... In order to appreciate a Rainbow, you have to use it exclusively, and almost daily for 30 days. The reduction of dust is noticeable, as is the improved quality of air. That insistent, consistent, persistent airflow really does work. I would take a Rainbow over a Kirby any day. I...

what is the next kirby model

I think the time has come to re-envision... the 'team' concept of vacuum cleaners. Many people do not want, need, or desire a canister/tank/pull-behind vacuum (call it what you will) I think instead a direct-air upright and a clean fan upright with OBT would be much more satisfying combo. Or...

what is the next kirby model

Gsheen... You get it because you wait on customers every day, and hear what they say. I no longer even accept Kirby trade-ins. I cannot get even 50.00 out of a Sentria because no one wants them. Posts here on the forum will proclaim that someone in his/her 80's uses a Kirby and the hose...

what is the next kirby model

A return to the 500 series... with lighter weight, more power, disposable bags, and the newer handle conversion, belt lifter, and exhaust configuration would have been the end of Kirby? Or the bagless OBT? It certainly was not the end of Dyson. I'm not fond of bagless, but to have been the...

    Bissel vacuums Good or bad

My favorite Bissell... is the Pro-Lite Multi-Cyclonic Bagless. Center dirt path, extendable hose, bendable wand, more complete attachment kit. Not bad at $149.99

what is the next kirby model

There have been links... to patent drawings which allegedly portray the essence and direction of the new Kirby design. There have been serious rumors about at least a color change in the Sentria, since it has been the current model for six years now, seven by the time of the introduction. The...

    FILTER QUEENS??

Filter queen did pay to have testing done.. by independent laboratories, one being Twining Labs. The material filtered was sulfur dust, no clue why they chose that. At one time lots of hospitals used Filter Queens. In their heyday they competed mainly against cloth bag dump out machines, or the...

    Popularity of uprights

Above the floor cleaning.... is of two varieties. There is the on-the-fly quick catching of the stray bit of popcorn, or cobweb, and there is the thorough vacuuming of lampshades, upholstery, bookshelves. On-board attachments are geared toward the first kind of use. The second is more easily...

    FILTER QUEENS??

Filter Queen never.... used a really good power nozzle. Add a Centec, or a Lindhaus, or a Wessel-Werk to a FQ and you have an incredibly good cleaning machine.

Any clue who is the manufacturer...

of this vacuum? Does NSS make the entire line of their name branded equipment?

    Popularity of uprights

Stretch hoses on an upright are intended to be used... with one hand on the cleaner handle at all times, and for quick spot pick-ups. Just not practical for thorough cleaning of upholstery or wide expanses of wall.

    KIRBY VS. DYSON

well the damn dyson people decided to go with the helix brushroll system instead of a standard cylindrical one. So Dyson finally copied what has been working for Lindhaus for over 20 yrs?

    KIRBY VS. DYSON

Here are the facts... A Dyson fluffs the dirt. making it appear like more than it really is. We have all seen vacs with bags packed like a bag of sugar with power to spare.   A Dyson does not lift the carpet like a Kirby, Sanitaire, metal Royal, or older Hoover, and it lacks the brushes of...

    Bissell Spot Bot

I, too, have experienced... the leaky Spot Bot. I have always finished cleaning with the hand tool to blend in the clean spot so it does not look like a crop circle. I, too, took it in twice, and both times was told, 'there is noting wrong'. I did not replace it as I have switched to Host for...
