I could think of many other vacuums I'd buy if I had that kind of money hanging around!! Then again, if it was a Hoover, who knows what I'd do!

I think Hoover still have quite a good reputation due to the history of them being one of, if not the most popular brand of vacuum cleaner in the 20th century and thus, what most people's parents owned.  Therefore, people will be inclined to buy them these days as it is what they were brought up...

Personally the best straight suction cylinder vacuum cleaner for me is the Numatic.  On the Hi speed setting it has more than enough suction to carry out even the most extensive tasks - after all, that is what it was designed for.

I think it is asinine because Sebo are promoting a tag line which insinuates that the new EU regulations on motor wattage will result in worse performing vacuum cleaners.  Surely they should be stating the contrary!   Perhaps I am getting the wrong end of the stick, but that's how it looks...

OK children, that's enough.  I have reported this thread and truly hope it is deleted as it is a disgrace to the vacuum community.   Can you imagine if a new member or guest came onto the forum and this was the first thing they saw?  What would they think?     

I am astonished a brand as big and successful as Sebo could be so utterly... ASININE!!  There is no other word for it.
