    Wheel Replacement on Vintage Electroluxes

    All of this talk about wheels got me to wondering so I checked out my G's..  The turquoise and tan G's both have rubber wheels on the back just as Rick said.  On my factory rebuilt G, all four weeks are gray and plastic.     Terry

    Wow Derek, another great find!!  Oshkosh must be a great place for finding really neat stuff!!!  I have seen Ricks' in person and it is just beautiful.  I'm sure he will be a great resource in restoring yours.

    Wow Charlie, thanks for the detailed project!!!  You sure did a nice job on the 29.  Whatever you used to polish the hood did a beautiful job!!  I think that bag looks really good on it.  Very clever idea too using the Kirby bag.      Terry

    Lets See Your Central Vacs!

    I agree with Fred, being a collector myself I have many other vacuums to choose from besides my Beam Central unit.  When I am really going to do a good cleaning I use the central.  For quick everyday pick ups I pick one of my newer machines or a vintage one. I can't imagine not having another...
