    Finally got the Omega done

    safety switch bypass that person who owned it might have requested the switch bypassed, I did that on one of my Traditions , intentionally.not worried one iota of 'extra wear' on the brushes....i'm a collector....and it'll never be used as a daily anyway.

    Does anyone have a Hoover 60/61 cord they'd get rid of? My model 61 is the only Hoover I have and it is all cracked up.... It just shorted out and is unusable now ( after a 75% restoration effort. I suppose I can use any 3 wire cord worse case Thanks

    My old time kirby tech informed me thatKirby may have had the regular spring earlier on in production, but they started using a rubber belt...that would often fail so the fix was the metal strap/clamp

    What did you pull out to clean up after christmas celebrations or putting away all the decorations? I had been using my Miele U1 the week before, so the Legend II from Kirby got its turn. cheers!
