    Eureka Mobile Aire

I found this exact vac for sale for $15.99 in really good shape. It does have a couple of the accessory tools missing however. It still has the cardboard tool caddy with it. Thoughts??

The big bad beast, aka Big bertha!

Thanks for sharing "Big Bertha" with us! I remember a friend of my grandmothers had one of these when I was very little. I have always been curious about this Lux. Especially like the dual spoke handle. Never have seen one in person since though. Glad to see the insides. I wondered how it was...

Dog smell schooled my HEPA filter

I agree with Sandy... Nothing like the satisfaction of finding a well used dirty vac & taking it apart & cleaning it to make it like new again! It's always a thrill for me to return something so dirty sometimes to like new condition.

i have a devastating kenmore issue. need some help

I second the JB Weld idea I used JB Weld recently for the first time to fix a Regina that cracked horribly like yours. It worked perfectly! Give it a try, it's worth a shot.

    1984

I just recently acquired a similar canister model. Mine is not the power handle model. It has the power switch & cord rewind pedal on the rear of the canister.Complete with all tools & a non-splitting hose all for $2.99. I was ecstatic to find this model since this was the identical machine that...

    DYSON AIRMUSCLE DC 28

Nice! I have been drooling over this model evertime I am at Target. I wonder how it perfoms compared to my DC14. I would suspect with the better brushroll & Airmuscle feature it must clean very well.

I want to know what was the first Electrolux model 2100 color?

Thanks for the info Jimmy. I thought that mine was maybe an "oddball" of some sort. Makes sense that it was sold at Sam's Club. I vaguely remember Elux at Sam's when I was a kid.

    Kirby Heritage find

Nice find Samuel! Awesome looking Heritage. I have always loved the red bag on this model. I recall using one of these years ago with the small head & it was easier to push/navigate than the large nozzle.

I want to know what was the first Electrolux model 2100 color?

I just got one recently too... Mine is a special edition model. Inside the bag door it says it's a High Tech 2100 Colors are burgundy/sandstone I guess. Don't have pic yet, waitin til I get her thru the spa treatment. Also need to find a new hose for it as the one with it is the original &...

    Oreck American Heritage

Saw them at Big Lots here too Our Big Lots store here just reopened a couple of weeks ago in a much larger location. Went to check it out & noticed that they had a lot of these reconditioned models in stock. I wonder if these were some of the machines people returned on the 30 day gurantee that...

    Does anybody remember?

Thanks for the input guys! Cole, the power nozzle looked like that. My stepmom's was white with metal wands though. I am fuzzy on the exact shape & look of the tank, but that one doesn't look as I remember from what I recall. Seems her tank was not plastic & did not have a top mounted tool...

    Does anybody remember?

A Douglas canister vacuum from the late 70's or early 80's? My stepmom had one & I always wanted to play with it. It had a power nozzle and as I recall was white. So far all I have seen in posts is the small portable Douglas carvac. I am curious as to what the canister model was and if any of...

    Kenmore canister memories

My dad bought my mom a new Kenmore canister for their anniversay. It was in either 1986 or 1987. I was by far more thrilled with it than mom was! LOL It replaced our Hoover Convertible that was long since falling apart. It was an ivory color with chocolate brown trim & attachments. It lasted til...

**Garage Sale Find** Hoover Dial A Matic

Thanks for the compliments guys! Glad you guys like it as much as I do. Tyler you might have a point. However the attachments were with the vac at the sale in a bag hanging on it. I would assume that the elderly man who owned it probably bought it new back in the day w/ attachments. Of course...

**Estate Sale Find** Regina Powerteam Electrikbroom

Thanks for the compliments guys. Andy, the suction I would say is so so, not real great but enough. I might compare it to the suction of an Dirt Devil handvac which I had back in the day that had attachments. Chase, do you have any pics of your model? Would like to see them if you do.

**Estate Sale Find** Regina Powerteam Electrikbroom

It's Fun! I love it! picks up a surprising amount of dirt too considering the size of the motor. Seems the power nozzle is overly noisy & rattles though. I have cleaned it up & greased the bearings. Maybe just the way they were & the fact its very old brittle plastic??

**Garage Sale Find** Hoover Dial A Matic

Thanks Jimmy! I appreciate the explanation of how the tool holder is used. It all makes sense now! I will add the upholstery tool I have from one of my other DAM's & post some other pics asap.

**Garage Sale Find** Hoover Dial A Matic

So I found this Dial A Matic a couple weeks ago at a garage/estate sale. I was going to have to leave & run to the atm to get cash as I was out. But the very nice people who were having the sale said take it, enjoy it. They were wanting to get rid of what was left at the end of the sale. Their...
