Save your $600 The agitator in the Hoover will always out clean anything on the market today.Hoover's "triple action" cleaning principle is simple, yet very efficient. The Convertibles were designed to clean carpets...that's it. No on board tools, hoses, or other nonsense. If you are wanting to...

one of those great old Hoovers that never die......=)

WOW! Beautiful 26! I wish mine had the original bag! Yours is in gorgeous condition! Mine is in nice shape, still has the bumper on the hood...only blemish is a paint chip on the front of the nozzle. Amazing cleaner! (I am an awful photographer)

A question im often asked about old vacuums!

Aside from "tech items", everything I own is vintage. I too have many vintage Western Electric phones, kitchen appliances, linens, cookware, the list goes on and on. My home was built in '49! As for vintage vacuums, I personally (in my humble opinion) feel they clean my rugs much better than...

Oiling a Royal Prince Model 157

SAE 30 in an electric motor, really? I have a close friend who owns a vac repair/sales shop, he said to use 3 in 1 electric motor oil (in the blue and white bottle)..I believe you know him as well, Dave. SAE 30 will only gum up the bearing, and eventually cause it to go fail. I'd take his...

    Rare Vintage Power Nozzles

Hoover Would have been really cool if Hoover would have produced this power nozzle! As you can see, the patent was submitted in September of 1919. This pre-dates Airway by almost ten years. Really cool design...
