    1997 Sebo Automatic X1

I've been quiet on here lately, haven't I? So, picked her up from the British heart Foundation for £30. Meh, a little bit more than I wanted to pay for the oldie but seeing how she came with a genuine extension hose ( that I've been meaning to get for a while) and these models hold a few...

Is this a genuine Sebo X1 motor?

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. Now I know that this is a replacement motor as indicated by the label and by the date wheels on parts of the machine (96' and 97') But, is it a genuine motor? The reason I'm questioning is because 1. I've only worked on an x1.1 and 2. It has the sebo logo only...

    HELP NEEDED HOOVER JUNIOR U1036

sorry for delay! Sorry for late reply, couldn't be bothered to go on here much. Anyway, these sort of things happen and to be honest, is expecting with old machines. Now, seeing how you've gained access to the motor before hand, I might as well go into details on how to remove the motor for...

    HELP NEEDED HOOVER JUNIOR U1036

They aren't needed. The only thing with removing them is if you vacuum with the TV or radio on you'll get some interference, but why you'd vacuum with them om I shall never know. Anyway, They're so simple to remove, best way is to use a choc block. Gain access to the suppressor, cut all four...

    New Henry's - Original, Compact & Professional

Funny how you'd say that I've never owned let alone used one. Because oddly enough there's one right next to me in my room. Oh deary me I must be in the wrong house! Also,I never criticized that its "awkward to store and use." At least not in this thread.

    New Henry's - Original, Compact & Professional

might as well have my input.. Dare say this'll end badly but oh well, Personally I think that the new tool storage looks horrid. It just doesn't fit with the machines' design well at all. Yes,I know that "tweekage" is needed and modifications are needed for a company to advance its products...

What are you oldest most cherished vacuums?

My oldest is my 1973 hoover junior 1346A. My most cherished? It's a tough choice between my 2011 sebo X1.1 ( I know that's going to get a few eyes rolling) and my 1993 Hoover Turbopower Boost U2716. I honestly can't be bothered o get pictures, sorry.

    question.

Sometimes new old stocks appear. Depends. Sometimes they can be cons. Just my humble opinion..

    Weird Sebo bags.

One on the left looks generic to me IMHO.
