To me it looks more like a fabric steamer rather than a vacuum cleaner due to the diameter size of the 'hose'. I think you probably add water and it will produce steam. Gary

My Guardian Platinum came with the black flip over rug/floor nozzle. Why are Legacy and Platinum attachments not interchangeable? Do they not use the same type of hose handle, wands, etc.? Gary
