Show us your commercial/heavy duty vacuums!

SSS! Black and white is a nice look. I have an old Sanitaire that will be repainted and it's good to see what other colors loook like.

    Sebo or Panasonic?

Sebo Essential vs Hoover Insight . VL member KirbyloverDan, who has owned both, made a case for the similiarly designed Hoover in a previous thread. I found his arguements very compelling. *Warning* geralization ahead... Euro vacs are often reflexively assumed to be superior but in my...

    Tornado Carpetkeeper Upright Vacuum

If it wasn't so far.. I'd certainly have a look see. 3500 miles is to far. When they are cheap i try to have a friend buy and store it for me until i return to the area, this one is too pricey to buy sight unseen.

    Sebo or Panasonic?

You did say price is not a consideration.. with me it usually is. With that in mind did you consider the Windsor version of the Felix2, the Axcess 15? See link below. Karcher also sells a Felix among other labels no doubt. Still no where near the bewildering array of Panny copies and clones...

    Sebo or Panasonic?

Sticking with Panasonic.. . There is the fomer TOL Panasonic to consider, the MC-UG787. I believe you can still find it new. It may be the superior vacuum, it's MSRP was very high. See link to an excellent discussion of it here on VL by vegassucks who i thank for the pic below. As i point out...

    Sebo or Panasonic?

I agree. . Auto carpet height is a gimmick waiting to break. On the Panny it just means it is a floating head design. That basic Panasonic design comes from a number of companies, most of which are made by Tacony (as Durango mentioned): Riccar, Simplicity, CarpetPro, Powr-Flite, Fuller...

    Tornado Carpetkeeper Upright Vacuum

I found this for sale online. I have never seen anything like it, and didn't find anything in the archives that related to this style of vacuum...so i'm posting it. There seems to have also been a Tornado Carpetkeeper that resembled a Lindhaus Healthpro, far les heavy/commercial and with...

    Parade o' Vintage Panasonics

Pocono, . Does yours have the Jet Flo sound? The best sounding vac i have is probably a Jet Flo.. This brochure scan, from the VL archives (see link, thanks Collector2), has my mind reeling. The white Panny (MC-6100) upright rocks! Has anybody seen, used, or own(ed) one of these?[this post...

    Hoover Platinum Lightweight=]

Hella bump.. . a musty old thread gets resurrected. I just bought a used one of these for our small city apartment because my Hoover Clean & Light wasn't cutting it on the deep rug we have. But as mentioned here this Hoover wants to clamp down somewhat so it is a bit of a fight. That said it...

    Parade o' Vintage Panasonics

Nothing too special except i have never seen this color before. It has the old, "Jet-Flo" body style but the color of the machine after they updated it. I found this on Craig's, in Reading PA, if you live in the area. Post yer Pannys and win a prize!

My New Sanitaire S675 With Its Older Cousin, Kirby

Great vacuum! Yes it is a very good price for a new one. Is yours an ST disposable bag model with a double zipper outter bag? That's the newest i am aware of. I have found the Red Line Sanitaires discounted online but never the Blue Line, nice buy.

    Horror stories!

As i recall.. The company who makes Kirby vacuum among many other products and services, Scott Fetzer -which itself is now part of the Warren Buffett mega conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway -sells it's products only to the authorized dealers who are independent distribution entities who no doubt...
