    SuperVac SV-180

ill second repairman. kirby nla'd these 18" brushrolls back in 2003. a collector would be much more adept to own this. a regular person would trash it and get mad when they find out they cant get brushrolls anymore and put it on the curb.

Need to sell vacuums this year (2024)

moving. I moved about 65 machines from Texas to Ohio 3 years ago. its doable. even cross country. I wouldn't downsize just to move, find a place that can accommodate what you have plus a little extra. that's what I did looking for a place to rent. I was looking for a place that had the...

    Penncrest Newspaper Ads—1964-1971

JustJunque to answer your question, no. penncrest was used from 1963-1972 only. the private labeling after that period just said "jcpenney" on it. even that was dropped after 1984. then they just used national brand names like hoover, etc, but still have exclusive colors.

    Found This Old Hoover Yesterday

If he recommended a cwp brushroll. dont get it. they will over stress these older lower amperage motors. best bet it to take it to a vacuum shop and have the service tech re grease the existing bearings. they should have brush strips on hand for a machine that new if theyre worn out. a grease...

huskyvacs this cleaner is brand new in box that's why. only the rich old queens who will NEVER turn them on or take them out of the box bid such stupid prices on machines. slimlines /portables/handivacs under any other circumstance you can't give them away. its neat to see a brand new...

    Top Side Canister Cord Rewinds

there's an easy answer for this. cord damage. with a top mounted winder, the cord would constantly be bent going around the edge of the machine to an outlet. over time this would cause premature failure of the cord. this problem is exemplified by cord wound uprights. many vintage eureka...

    Kirby belt cover damage

you cant fix that. the bakelite is breaking down (and shrink cracking) from heat damage over a long time. some things are just too compromised to repair or restore. that would crumble like a overcooked cookie if you handled it too much.

    Hoover Model 714 Question

Promotional cleaners were budget models. they were meant as budget introductory models, some of them had extremely long production runs with very high numbers made and sold at many stores. SOME were exclusives, or run for a short time (usually due to unpopular color/slow selling or dept store...
