Sentria or not to Sentria? Well, I am leaning toward the Kirby Sentria because it is a newer model and much more improvements from the G5. I would recommend the Sentria.

Tristar power nozzle Well, if it has a high pitched squeal, there has to be something that is causing friction between the belt and the brush roll, if not, the motor bearings are going bad. Try to replace them if you can.

Hello All! I have a MAJOR problem with this Kirby. Okay, everything is intact, but every time I switch it on, it won't turn on at ALL. I replaced the back motor switch, the front safety switch, etc. But it won't turn on!!!! Any advice???

Eureka setting Well, yeah, like the others said, it is a suction relief switch. What it does is lowers the suction by opening these vents on the side of the machine to use on thinner or berber carpets, then if it was set on "Hi", it would be at completely full suction. See if that helps.
