No Holes, LOL
This armature has no holes behind the cooling fan. So Im going to buy that tool I guess and then try again. I get a replacement armature and already have new brushes and a fan for it. The fan change went very smooth on the Legend II though. They must have sucked up a lot of...
Could be.. Now I have to source a new label for that not saying 84 is bothering me. I still haven't been able to get the fan off the omega I am trying to build from the ground up. It is seized on there for some reason and I have already damaged the armature to the point it needs to be replaced...
Suprise!!!!!!
Underneath the bump strip is a white sticker with a serial number matching the serial number on the main motor, so I guess its original. So some got the label and others didn't
Who would have thunk it
Blaze
I bought a Heritage 84 Kirby, but it doesn't say it on the nozzle, but has everything else saying it...so I assume it has had the nozzle changed out at some point
HERITAGE 84
I have seen a couple heritage 84's without the nozzle label, which means I guess they don't have the original nozzle. Thank you so much for the info
I got a Omega that was sitting next to the trash. Its just the motor part. Im trying to replace the fan, but cannot get it off. I have ended up destroying the armature trying to get it off. Does the belt spindle come off separately on these or is it all one thing (fan and belt spindle)?
No serial number
So where is the serial number at if the label is damaged that is under the machine? Or are you just screwed if the label is damaged, lol!!!???
Differences
I have noticed there is a Heritage and a Heritage 84, Then Heritage II broke out in Legends. So really how many models and what differences are there through the Heritage series?
Sanding
I sand them in steps. 180 grit to remove gouges if needed, then 320, then 400, then 600, then 800, then 1000, then 1500, then 2000, aaaaaannnnnnnnddddd then some flitz.
If its just tarnished then I start at 1000
Thank You
Thank you for the bag! I bought a Em-Tor from ebay, actually, I bought the whole "power plant" from ebay. A guy was selling just the motor with Em-Tor. For those that didn't see the original pics of this machine when I got it, here it is. It had one of those conversion bag setups...
