    Sebo X4 Pet ECO BOOST

Great pictures, overview and videos matt8808 on your new SEBO purchase. Great to hear you like the new boost feature and interesting to hear and see more about how the boost button works. Great to see the automatic function still works when the boost button is pressed/activated but not as much...

    Balding Dyson brushroll

Seems to be a common issue with these dual brush bars with the nylon and carbon fibre bristles. The carbon fibre ones (black in colour) ware down quick although I have seen the nylon ones (red in colour) ware down too! I'm sure they will replace the part for you especially as you say it's not...

    Dyson engineering ineptitude and complacency

Totally agree Paul, why not you go for it let us know what you find when you do. True, there varying factors too!

    Dyson engineering ineptitude and complacency

Don't they say the lvacuum that goes last always wins!?

    Dyson engineering ineptitude and complacency

Having been a Dyson fan and admiring James Dyson from the early 90's and owning a DC01 along with 7 other Dyson vacuums along the way up to the DC16, I no longer own any. I'll be honest in saying I don't in tend to own any in the future. Still admire James Dyson for what he has done in terms of...

New EU vacuums and half the suction

Good point raised, forgot about twin fan motors. I believe some Electrolux of past used twin fan motors. They worked very well and like you say less noise too. Most be a reason why they don't. Mind you some are moving to brushless motors which spin faster, don't they use less power not sure...

New EU vacuums and half the suction

Thanks....it's understandable to be sceptical! I think you will be pleasantly surprised with an Eco vacuum! You'll have to let us all know what you think. Apart from when I owned Dyson vacuums all others I've owned or used have had variable power control and never really had the need to use...

    Dyson Small Ball?

Interesting to read it from someone who worked for Dyson that seems to backup what we see. Dyson must know what they are doing, clever marketing to get consumers to buy! Once they have the machine it's money coming in regardless if it's suitable. I seen FB comments there they would advise the...

My Vax / TTI nightmare and now ruined carpet

Glad you have managed to sort out your ruined carpet and get some compensation from VAX, Matt8808. Love your new carpet looks cool. I've only ever used a Bissell carpet washer (apart from an earlier VAX121 tub back in the late 80s early 90s!), and the dry power systems from SEBO and Vorwerk.

New EU vacuums and half the suction

I've briefly used one of the new Eco 700 watt SEBO Felix and have to say there is no noticeable difference owning one of the standard 1300 watt Felix. I did think it was slightly more powerful the Eco model, quieter and a lot less hot air coming out of it! I don't use my Felix on full power and...

    Dyson Small Ball?

Probably by using the DC24 handle/wand setup gave them more scope to put extra length on the hose. Using this design you have to pull the wand out to attach it to the top of the handle/wand where as the old DC50 design you pulled the wand out and use it as is, the handle stayed attached to the...

what is your favourite dyson vacuum?

When I owned a few of the earlier UK Dyson's model years ago I quite liked the DC01 and DC03.

How long to fill a bag?

My SEBO Felix bag last 3 months on average using daily or every other day. My Vorwerk Kobold VK150 2 to 3 months on average using every other day. I own a pet too so pet hair is mainly what is picked up. Both vacuums bags are filled to the top. Bag usage above is based on using just that...

    2011 Sebo X1.1

Although a different set up the Felix has a top fill bag and that compacts the dirt so it's like a brick when it's full. They last me around 3 months with having a pet so the X series bag would last around 5 months being another 2 litres more.

Ooo some lovely old SEBO's there! I'm not surprised Miele phasing their Upright out.

    2011 Sebo X1.1

I've realised my statement was general, it should of said 'most new people to the brand love their SEBO'.
