    Train track lines...

I think its personal preference. I love track marks, nothing shows a carpets been cleaned like those track marks y'know lol. In fact Il be insisting carpets that have a pile capable of leaving these lines be fitted when we start decorating our home. At the minute we just have god awful flat...

    Hello new member 652

Welcome On closer inspection it seems that your Senior has been somewhat fiddled with -Im suspecting it was re sprayed and passed off in the 1970's as being brand new perhaps. 6525C Hood with a 6525E bag - joe blogs wouldnt have suspected a thing I think. But curiosly the 'Red Roundel' should...

    Dyson DC01

Parwaz I understand what you say but remember people buy things for their own enjoyment and soemtimes no amount of money can replace the enjoyment he may get by using it. It is entiely his choice and how he sees fit to use it. I did the very same thing. If you were to give me £1million in 20...

Dysons Twice the Suction claim - is it true?

Something I heard on QVC about 3 weeks ago during a Dyson slot.... 'It took 60 'engineers' 3 years to perfect this technology' What technology I thought? getting a carpet clean? filtering the air? Something electrolux and hoover had perfected to more than acceptable standards. Didnt...

    Hose Work

SamI was going to mention the Portapower but I never felt they were built for the job. God awful noise they make, feels like the noise they make is to prove they are something they are not. Suction isnt too great for the size it is although it seems to be adequate but its major let down is it...

    Hose Work

Why no combo tool? I presume you mean those awful crevice/dusting brush efforts? The electrolux butterfly tool is the best your ever likely to use for dusting and upholstery/stairs. Even some (most) seperate tools dont work as well as this tool so I would suggest a cleaner that can accept this...

    Dyson DC01

At the end of the day Josh paid HIS or his parents money for that cleaner and its ultimately HIS OR THEIR choice as to what they do with it. Only we would be warranted a grievance if it was being abused and openly shown on this website. I have no idea why busybody comments are being made...

    Dyson DC01

Brilliant! Good news. Do you intend to unbox it and have the pleasure of using it for the first time or do you plan to save it for another day? I bought a brand new Turbomaster some years back and had the pleasure of being its first person to use it. Awesome feeling!

Info wanted on Hoover Junior 400

Jamie Please dont delete your thread. Vacbear is a very good friend and knowing him personally I know he wouldnt of meant it the way you took it. In actual fact his kind nature would certainly have meant it as a 'heads up' kinda thing. Im also pretty sure the other poster also meant his...

Miele Cat and Dog Vs Numatic Henry

Having further inspected the telescopic tubes, I dont think they are the right ones. However a little research on your part and asking ebay sellers a few questions might prove to be useful in finding a new one. Failing that maybe buying a cheap knackered Miele of a similar model to pinch the...

Miele Cat and Dog Vs Numatic Henry

the actual flexible hose rarely although its not impossible, breaks. They are quite easy to seperate if you disconnect the lugs, maybe you can use yourold flexible hose. If not ebay is awash with replacements too! Just ENSURE you buy everything that fits YOUR MODEL NUMBER :)

Miele Cat and Dog Vs Numatic Henry

Hi I assume by the hose you mean the plastic handle? I have seen these parts listed on ebay for around £6 for this model along with the extension tubes. I reckon £25 and you will be good to go until the actual cleaner dies, far cheaper than the Henry your considering with aerobrush which...

    New Vacuum Cleaner...

Statistics and percentages dont always add up. BSH might very well have over 76% of their workforce in Europe but then we all know how many parts and products get outsourced to sub contractors and other companies. Are those considered in these figures. I bet not. And given the small...

Miele launch the 700W S8 Silence Plus Ecoline in the UK

Ryan I had this anomoly explained to me a few years ago. As VOLTAGE varies from time of day and as to your location in the country what you recieve in your house can range from 210V to 250V The wattage difference is what it will drawer at the max voltage supplied at any one time. Thus the...

Hotpoint Cylinders - The New Range

A few weeks ago we held a meet here in the Peak District where we unveiled 2 of Hotpoints new cleaners. We bought the 2nd BOL cleaner the 'Pet' version in Blue and the TOL remote control, 5 floor head, Black cleaner. Both bagged variants. What I have made in daily use is these are very...
