    Anyone Selling a Electrolux CB2000?

I have 2 nice CBs coming up for sale, one is a 1205 color CB with the newer style larger motor with a PN1 power nozzle, the other is an Olympia Brown CB with a PN4B power nozzle with an original 3 row commercial brush roll. I don't have any CB2000's right now, I do get them occasionally.

Eye-popping Lux Model XXX on eBay!!

The seller is a personal friend of mine, most know him, he is a long time member who has run into some hard times right now, he asked me if I was interested in buying it, I told him I would love the machine, but because of some health issues right now I wasn't sure what was going to happen with...

    Electrolux Canada Canister Attachments?

These attachments are original Electrolux attachments, they were used on the very last run of "Factory Rebuilt" machines. I have seen them packed in the boxes of factory rebuilt model G and model L machines.

    Quick pick-up go to vacuum.....

I have to say, we love our Hoover Linx cordless vacuum for quick pick ups. It does a great job on both carpets and bare floors and the battery lasts about 20 minutes.

Hoover Convertible Vacuum Cleaner U 4123 Brand New in the Box

It was one of the last metal based hoovers, but it had the front tool conversion and only a 1 speed motor. We sold them in my store in 1979 for $59.95, if memory serves me right, I think they cost us $43.00 at the time and if we bought 12, they gave us free attachment sets for them.

*11* NIB 1975 Bison Mark I vacuum cleaners for sale

The motor housing plastic became brittle when it reacted with the petroleum from the grease that leaked out of the power take off gear case. I had a NIB Bison that was given to me many years ago, it sat in the box in a cool dry place when I opened it the entire green case was cracked, when I...

Kirby 180069 and 179978 Metal Emtor Body Differences?

Ben, I believe the difference in the 2 sani emptors is that the older one does not have the lip on the opening where the cloth bag attaches too it for the paper bag tube that was used on the Tradition, the later version has a lip that the base of the bag tube snaps into. That is the only thing I...

    Electrolux LX Help

That part is a noise suppressor filter, it was very popular on vacuums in that era, it reduced static on TV's and radios. You can leave it connected, just attach the loose wire to the stud where the mounting nut goes.

I have a Kirby Information question.

The original handle grip on the Omega model was made out of a soy bean compound which was very brittle, the back of the handle grip broke with the slightest push. They eventually came out with a solid plastic handle and the hole for the cord hook screw was drilled through the solid plastic...

Electrolux bag seal failure and design flaw

The rubber on the bag does nothing but keep the dirt in after the bag is removed, the rubber seal on the front cover is what keeps the machine from sealing. Yes, the replacement bags are junk, the seals do rip, if you use Genuine Aerus bags there is no chance of the self sealing tab ripping the...

    Late 1979 Kirby Tradition

Ben, as I said I was a former Kirby Area Distributor and when the Tradition came out we were instructed as part of the demo to show the Kirby as a moth proofer, then when they switched to the Lexan fan, we were instructed to tell the sales people that it was no longer to be used as a Crystalator...

    Late 1979 Kirby Tradition

Adambomb, I beg to differ with you, I was a Kirby AD and the early Traditions had a metal fan as well as the instructions in the use and care book for the Crystalator attachment. The later Traditions with the Lexan fan, the use and care book did not instruct you to use the Crystalator to moth...

My parent's bought their tan model G in October of 1968 for $175 with the power nozzle, my Aunt bought hers that same night for $125.00 with no power nozzle, she decided she wanted the power nozzle and bought it in December of 1968 for $50.00, but it was the model 1205 blue with the 1 piece...
