Just wanted to ask if its safe for someone to use a 10amp fuse in a hoover junior? I use 5 amp fuse in mine but a friend was asking and i don't know myself if its safe or not as im just using the one that was in mine when i got it.

Just got a junior 1346 and the fuse keeps blowing...Have put a 5amp in and a 3amp just to see and it only switches on for a few seconds then dies again. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Mine came without one unfortunately. I think the tp Tool caddy as vintagerepairer said is the same as the tools are the same for both tp and tm. Just the hose thats different. I will get hold of one at someoint im sure :-)

Thanks for that info sam. I got it working again now. Phew!! I think it was excessive vibration as some parts were loose which made it much louder. Stripped it down and re fastened everything and its running like a dream.

Realy? i may have a look then. The one in my junior Dirtsearcher Deluxe is fine too and has allways worked. Never even changed it. The one i got for the Tm was a genuine Hoover Component. Will get some more tho and give it a go..See if i can figure out wheather its the Bulb or the Vacuum itself...

Hi sam. Model number U5096. Thanks. Hopefully a faulty bulb. The TM I used to have had none of these problems and that was the same Model. Although yes...The bulb was gone when i got it.

Hi all got my tm Today Model u5096.Given her two new belts and a scrub up and she works like a dream! Just waiting for the Dirstfinder bulb to arrive in the post then away to go. The only thing thats missing is the Tool holder at the back. I think it must of cracked at somepoint and was removed...
