I think maybe the suction is just too much and the bags cannot handle it.... You really need those cloth layered bags, they just seem better constructed. Miele makes the best bags- hands down. Hope they resolve the bag issue for those of you who have the Platinum.

I think the older Miele's up until only a few years ago, did have some problems. I think they actually went the way of China for while on some of their line. I think most of the line today is fairly solid. Aerus has had issues with their product line as well. I told you about the air leakage...

Absolutely agree here, I like the looks of a Dyson and it seems cool, I had one for short time, but realized soon that there are other vacuums that pick up so much more dirt than a Dyson... my Aerus upright and Miele canister blows it away.

I think that's a very bad idea.... I am a potential customer who maybe wants to buy one. It would be smarter for them to tell me, hey when they come in, I will call you.... And of course we take trades. Not good business practices IMO, I'm tomorrow's sale.
