    The Model AE was introduced April 1956 at the drive meeting. The Model S came out in 1957. The Model R came out in 1960.The Model G came out in 1960 and in 1961 the power nozzle was introduced with the Model G. In July 1963 the Model L was introduced.

    The dirt meter for Electrolux was first on the Model XXX to the Renny. Renny on needed to be changed and was put in a wand. The new Platinum has one made for it.The one illustrated is for Renny on thru Guardian series except Guardian Ultra.

    To reply # 39, Ronni- This is the information I have been told to go by on B-8 and Floor pro interchanges. Aerus people that have been with the company since the B-8 and Floor Pro tell me to go with the company orders.

    Kevin , the hose were vinyl and 10 ft. long. Most all the hoses were grey. And to give you a heads up on the CB 2000 here is a cutaway of one. The motor used Super J armature, the motor mount was similar to L and that's it.

    The picture shown of Electrolux is just like an earlier picture that was done by Hoover back in about 1949 that was shown to me by my Dad and a Hoover repairman. This is when Hoover sold Door to Door.

    Something like 18 train car loads were dumped in the ocean off of Conn. in the 1960s as a newspaper read. There are that many vacuums going to the dump and not traded in as many collectors can verify. Don't be mad at a manufacturer for doing what Electrolux did.
