i love electrolux tristar compact and filter queen power ful;l quiet lots of tools long hose love all 3 . i do prefer Compact iec over lux due to family having compacts but electrolu is lovely with direct connect .

bearing or wires gettting hot slow it down id open it up see whats melted

Congratulations   to you  hope your new vacuum  is  every thing you expect  it to  be  and more  . Electrolux is one ofmy  fav  brand  also reliable  tufff  cleaners   easy to use and  repair.

mine is also  noisy  on wind down but not so  bad now i change the blue bag to a  4 ply  bag  the  blue were humid  i find from when  original owner brough em in  i find it runs better with the  4 ply  brown bags  downst growl as much  . Il harvest the parts from the LE  for my  ambasador  3 ...

make shift bag and voila she runs.   i took a  electrolux  bag and put it in as my other shop bags are  to big   wonder if i can get smaller shopvac bag il have to look but until then this will do prevent dust on filter  media  she has suction il; tell yta  that

free shopvac given to me today early 70 works like new It needs a clean but she works yay freeee  i put a longer hose bag  filter  switch on and  vrrrrrr sucks  dirt up  no issue bearing ok wow  tub clean  tooo just  dirt

my   lux   ambassador  3 is working fine bit noisy  but good   the le  is gona get a new motor  simpler   im on the hunt  for  one

if my  electrolux is down on power and arching   blue   from carbon brush are they worn or need new motor  how much would it be  thanks

just got this lux Ambassador 3 and a Electrolux Le but the le is arching bad i can see from exhaust port. The Ambasador runs has suction bit loud but works and pn 6 all tools. The  Electrolux  ambasador  3     is pictured bellow  runs  good bit  noisy on wind down but  works  not bad 2 vac ...
