I just bought a new motor for $69.95 on ebay.

Does this Self Propelled Windtunnel motor look like it needs to be replaced

That's what I'm probablly gonna do but even if I do have to buy a new one, I only paid $30 for the machine and a new motor would cost around $70, so I still would spend less than I would to buy a new SP Windtunnel.

Does this Self Propelled Windtunnel motor look like it needs to be replaced

I opened up the motor housing on my new/used Windtunnel and it looks like a lot of moisture got in there. Do you think it'll be okay or should I buy a new one? Here are the pictures below and the link is for the thread I created about the vacuum yesterday...

My New (Obviously used) Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Self Propelled

Hopefully Walmart or target sells both of the belts and both of the filters for this thing. I'd get them today, but payday isn't till tomorrow. I'll be getting new type y bags tomorrow for sure. I'm also gonna get a can of air and clean the motor housing out too because judging by how bad the...

My New (Obviously used) Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Self Propelled

It took a while but I finally got the brush roll cleaned. There was A LOT of hair. I also took the end caps off and put a little bit of 3 in one oil that I had lying around on the brush roll bearings. The brush roll does look after market but it seems fine so I guess I'll keep it.

My New (Obviously used) Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Self Propelled

The Brushroll was chuck full of hair as you can see in the photos.

My New (Obviously used) Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Self Propelled

I bought this on eBay for a little over $30.00 (that included Shipping.) Even thought the condition of the machine is a little rough, I thought it was a good deal. I haven't run it yet as I want to give it a good cleaning, new belts, and new filters before I do. I'm also out of type y bags and...

    Hoover Concept Inner Handle Support

I just sent you an email about that. Judging by the picture, I don't think that will work on my Power Drive model as that handle part looks like it's for the Concept One and Two Power Drives from the late '80s and early 90's. Thanks again for looking though and emailing me.

Is this Windtunnel worth buying a fixing up?

I've looked locally the closest is over two hours away. I'd be paying the same amount in gas to go and get it as I would pay to ship this one.

Is this Windtunnel worth buying a fixing up?

It's under $50 to ship it to Illinois. The total cost of buying and shipping would be around $60-$65.

Is this Windtunnel worth buying a fixing up?

I really like the WindTunnel Supreme but I don't want to buy the new ones that TTI makes (The motors sound different). The starting bid is $19.99. The side is cracked (it looks like the handle assembly) and it looks like it could use a new brush roll. Other than that, the seller says it operates...

Vacuum Shop Cleanout Tag Sale and Auction

If you come across a Hoover Concept One Power Drive from the late '70s or early '80s, I need the handle support piece. Mine cracked when it was being shipped to me back in January. If you could find one that would be great. Below is a picture of the part from a message thread I made back in...

    Monster Hoover Runabout

A morph between a Hoover Runabout and a Hoover Soft guard is on eBay. Two Elite style Hoovers in one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-hoover-vacuum-clernerhoover-convertiblevacuum-cleaner-/271499185996

    bissell powerforce

You can buy the motor and brushroll at vac parts warehouse. Here's the link: http://www.vacpartswarehouse.com/Bissell-PowerForce-Bagless-Model-6579-s/597.htm The motor was almost $50, so you may want to consider buying a new Powerforce vacuum, but if it has that much sentimental value...

Hoover Concept One Power Drive Help!!!

Thanks PoconoVacMan.... I did glue the handle back together and it's drying now (The strongest glue I had was elmer's wood glue hopefully it works) but if it doesn't, I might be interested in that handle. I just now gotta figure out how I'm gonna fix the support part on it.
